2019 a year we all will remember as the Pandemic Year.

I have to think a bit to remember what actually happend those last two year…It has been so much related to Covid-19 and the break-out and the first lockdown in March… Worklife turned upsidedown in few hours and everyone needed to be digital over the night. In the same way as the studendts had to. The whole suciety was down. You could not do much. Many people was really scarred for this virus and get sick.

I read an article when Norway and the world were shut down in March 2019 about how viruses like this work. A virus divides into mutations by itself. Often no more than five times and then it dies out. But an important part for the virus and the mutations to be able to die is that there is a vaccine and that the people take the vaccine. Not just rich countries. Otherwise, there will be a risk that it will fail to divide into even more mutations.

This was a public article by some researchers.

What I’m wondering is was it taken away for people to take the vaccine or did not allow leaders around the world to read it?

The months past, work went on and the summer came. A bit more open during the summer months but in the end of the summer the second wave came. On it again. Traficlight system in the Schools here in Scandinavia. Each colour had it’s harder restictions. But hey, we survived that to.

What was normal before this virus, was not normal anymore. Would we ever gonna come back ” to normal?”.

We all had our issues and had to adapt to the leaders of our country, and the rules they made up during the way to stop this virus as much as they could.

2019 past and new hopes came along to some groups in the suciety when we got into 2020. How much of each of us and our whishes came through? I have to say I never believed we ever would get back to “the normal” again when this started. More something like “we have to learn live with this and follow what the leaders thinks is the best”. I mean, how could the people that are decribed in the Bible learn to live with new stuff? They probobly also had simular hard thing to adapt to. They did somehow, so why can not we?

We are supose to be an example as Christians for the rest who do not believe. And if we do not believe in something good in this pandemic how will they? If we Christians do not follow what the leaders askes us, would we end up in a new war. Is that what we want? I know I do not want a new war! If we as Christians goes against when we have peace to for example take the vaccine, should we feel guilty for taking it? That is how it was for me from some friends. They told me I should not take the vaccine because “it’s bad news”. Well I had peace from the Lord to take it.

I do not know how you feel or if you have taken the vaccine. I have. But I live in a country where the goverment recommend it and not force you.

We have now got so far in this pandemic, that we got the fifth wave of a mutation sweeping in over our counrty (December 2021) like Italy had it in 2019… Did the govemet open up to early? Can we blaime them? Or can we do what looks like is the best, stay 1 meter apart, not visiting to many, wash our hands often?

How have you all survied this Pandemic? Are you all okay?

I have to say, I have been blessed so much in different ways all through this Pandemic. The Lord has open up so many things for me. I can only say I am Thankful for his way of being in my life and guiding my steps wherever I go, or do. He has protected me so far and I know He will continueing do that. I started with a move the first weekend in this first lockdown, lived in a small society for one annd half year. Worked in a junior high school and was a janitor on my spare time. The Lord open up a door for a job I did not apply for and I could move again this last august to the county I have been longing for to move back to. And here I am. Living in Stavanger, the county of Rogaland. The only place I have ever felt as home since I moved from Sweden fourteen years ago. Fascinating how life is.

I love this place! Do not want to move away from this county again!

So, what is around the corner now? Well as I wrote above, we have “been hit by the fifth wave” of covid.19 and the lastest mutation here in Norway. It came from South Africa to Norway with someone I guess did not test him/herself before entring our country. People have been living like this pandemic is over, they have got sloppy of how they act and do. And that’s why we are here again. Even though, if the arcticle I read in March -19 was right, this fifth wave would come.

In my junior high school, we went from green traficlight Friday December 10th to yellow traficlight Monday December 13th, to red traficlight on Wednesday December 15th!!!! Insane fast. Never happend before.

So here we are, having digital school again (not that digital school surprice me) but I feel so much all the sore students that had a rough time last digital period and where some of the dropped out just because of the digital world. Every school has sore students. If a child or yought has a diagnose the are more sore, but yet they do not need to have a diagnose. Just if they are linguistically and academically weaker they are also “sore students”. It is so much harder to help a student with linguistically week throgh a screen!

I just want to be able to help them. My ❤ is for those students, that’s why I rather work in junior high school then in a lover grade.

It is December 19th today when I am writing most of this, the end of this year. And I am wondering how the rest of this pandemic will look like?, When will it end? Are we here in Norway (Scandinavia) more unlucky when a mutation comes to us that it stays here longer because we have a longer winter, more clod over several months? Or is it a myth that a mutations lives longer in a country with a colder temperature and shorter in a warmer country?
