2024 has started.

Here in Norway the schools starts on the 2nd or 3rd of January. No long Holiday here. I was asked on the 2nd, on text, if I could work those three day’s this week. Which means I have had a good start and fun cauce I have had art & craft with 5th and 7th graders, two full day’s and three different classes each day. Today, Friday, I were with one 5th graders class in theoretic art & craft in the classroom, one English lesson and ended the day with art & craft with a class in 6th grade. It couldn’t have started with more fun! The best part is I will not just *continue to be the teacher in 7th grade, no it is that I will be the teacher that start the re-design project with those pulpils 🤩🤩. *Until the originale teacher gets more information about her situation of where to work will be sattled I will also know which grade I will work with.

While I am the temporary teacher in art & craft I will this Spring apply to a one year studdy in art and craft at the uni (university) here in Stavanger 😊 that starts this coming fall.

Here is some pics from this first week at work 😉.

It has been so cold those three day’s 🥶🥶, today we had -11°C. It might not be so cold for some of you, but if you have south east wind from morning to morning with everything from 8m/s to 19m/s with windcast up to 20m/s then it is cold! If we only had 15cm of snow the cold wouldn’t feel so cold. Maybe you understan maybe not. It has been cold and fresh walking in this wind! And I love Winter, weather and wind so I don’t complain but the pulpils aren’t used to it so they complained.. they are not used to wear wool. Maybe they are better at wearing wool next week🤞🤞🤞 as the cold will continue. (In the area around Kristiansand – the train connetion from Oslo to Stavanger – have had around 100-200cm of snow! Not normal so far south! And the same wind as we, so there (and Kristiansand is approxy 4 hours drive south from Stavanger) have the Schools been closed due this two or three day’s. So this first week of January has had some challenges all over Norway. I heard on the radio that Karasjok have had between -35°C and -40°C, that’s like Sibir ir Alaska! 🥶🥶.

I went for a 30min walk this evening 😊, not much wind yet -10°C and here are some pictures from my walk.

Evening by the sea side.
Exploring my neighbourhood and walking path.
Frozen water, frozen grass, frozen nature.

Welcome to my blog. I am a creative young lady who comes from the northern part of Sweden and moved to Norway in 2007. This blog is about my dailylife, my faith, being creative in different ways, take challenges, share thoughts. I write to share, cause my heavenly Father told me so. And you SHARE to them around you. I mostly sew. Become a student this August-25, to become a teacher, so I'll share about that too. I love to inspire others. ..and I love coffee!
