Right now I enjoying both the temperature and a new area in Oslo where I haven’t been before.
Yesterday evening I went to Sollerud beach just by the fjord and 10min with the local bus from me.
Tomorrow I’m gonna explore an other place with a friend.
When it’s not to warm for me I love the summer!

My Summer Holiday started this last Friday after lunch. Finally. And Saturday was laundry day as normal with +29°C and wind. So all my cloths was hanging out in the wind and got dry fast. 🙃
Sunday (yesterday) I started to sort out some off my things in my wardrobe/storage room. Vacuum it cause my cat girl loves that room (which means it is a lot of cat hair there). I moved a furniture to get more space to walk on but also to be able to reach the other side off stuff to sort out.
This is my Summer project. To get rid of as much as possible (a.m.a.p.) of things I own and have inherited from someone back in time.. like a tableware with twelve mormal and small plates.. I have enough off that and I do not like what I inherited. But I want to know if they have any value.
(I had to take a break from this. So I went together with my land lady down to Oslo fjord for a swim. It was windy but +23°C in the water.) (Pic below.)
I got a tea pot and two cups on a birthday about ten years ago, which I never used.. which a friend of mine likes and will get. To give away.
I hate to have more things then I use and I have been like that since I was a kid (maybe because I have four older brothers). Every time I move I sort out. But I did not do that after we (me and two friends went to Sweden) two y.a. (to get my things who been standing in a storage for nine years.)
So now has that time come. To sort this (picture above) out. 😂😂😂

It’s summer in the air and the wind is warm again.
It’s soon July and soon holiday.
Today has been okay with the weather and temperature even if I felt like I would melt away around lunchtime.. but we did have one week (last week) with 🌧🌫🌤 rain and lower temperature. Which for me was perfect!
I still have the motivation to apply for jobs. I will stop when I reasch my goal.
One and a half more week and then holiday!

Today it’s Friday the 15th. It’s time for the first interview after 14 applications. And the statistical says 1 interview on 25 applications, so i guess I am lucky. 🤗
I have drinken my coffee and just finish a costumer job. I should vacuum clean my house… and take a shower.
I am as prepared as I think I can be. I will take it as it comes. But I do want to go to more than this one. Other of more interessts.

We have had a month of super 🌡🌡🌡warm weather here in Oslo. Which I and my cats nearly 😣 managed.
By being out in the shadow on laying on the floor inside.
…Which also is the reason I have not written any blog…
When it’s warmer then 🌡+28° C I struggle! I am not made for it. So with a Hole month with heat 🌞🌞🌞🌞… OMG. It has been insain and intense! But
with melon it was easier to live.
I have not had the energy to write ✏⌨ and so much has happend!!!
1, I celebrate 💟🍔🥘🎂🍦☕ my Birthday in two days. 2nd day the May 4th with a smaller gathering off girls and a eggfree cake which by the way is delicious!
2, Coordinated the Wedding 🤵👰 for friends and they got Married.
3, Stop ⛔working with Farefri AS.
4, Has started a 👩💻 job-couching-course.
5, Got a super drive to write applications 📄⌨💻 and send them away the electronic 📧 💻🔌 way (which is how we do it in Norway).
6, Celebration 🎉🎉 with friends on a pick-nick & swimming day the 1st weekend in June 🎉🎉🎉 (a comman celebration with my friend Cheryl who also has birthday 🎉🎉 in May. We have talked about this the last 3 years and now we did it.)
7, I figured out that I do not have enough chilly clothing so I started earlier this week on sewing projects. Re-sewing linnen pants to a blouse.
8, It’s been the National Day for 🇸🇪 Sweden my home-country 🇸🇪.
And here we are. 😂😂😂
But it is getting better and soon we will finally get some rain. Summer 🌧rain and ⛈thunderstoms. 😍

This Spring has not been easy when it comes to “get to gym”. It’s been and still is a bumpy road. Just the fact that when I wasn’t sick with a cold I had other issues… Headeach or period or feeling like a big big tractor been droven over me…
If you have knowledge about fibromyalgia you know that people with that get real pain in muscles when the weather is changing. I have a light version of that (thanking God for that!) But still I get sick and can’t do a thing. 
But it is hope and I have faith and it’s been wores then it is today. This all effects me on when, how often or how not often I hit the gym…the only thing that gives me a physical kick in life and so much more energy then anything else..
I pray for healing and trusting God that one day this shi*t will be gone and I can do what is good for my body.

It’s time for a change. The hair is growing but not as fast as I could wish for. Normally I would not complain which I don’t in that sense but right now I couldn’t be more happy if it was a bit longer. 😂😂😂
So to make it as close as I wish I have to bleach it… which I haven’t done in years! It’s to redbrownish and I need it to be more blond..
Here we go… here it is step by step 😊 from the top with my old outgrown haircut and red-brownish hair colour to after the bleaching.
Done 😉 it’s perfect! Not to orange not to blond 😍
Next step in this changing will happend on May 5th…. step by step from excited to all hair in. I will go from haveing short hair to long by putting extentions in. 😊 First time ever for that 😲. But I have since January wanted long hair again.
It’s 3 years since I cut off my long hair and went for all kind of shorter haircut. I was tired on my long hair. Tired of looking the same, having the thick hair I do get.
It has hit me that I have some kind of habbit to grow out my hair for 2 maximum 3 years. Let it be and not doing much and the cut it, have short for 3 or maximum 5 years and then it starts again… 😂😂😂😂

This morning started with coffee spots on my hoodie ☹ they were there from before but I had forgot about them 😂😂😂 anyway… So instead of trying to find an other hoodie I was creative with colours covering the coffee.
Why you migth think, well I just wanted to use my white hoodie with black lips on the front on my Birthday today. I wanted something I haven’t used in a long time. 😉
Lets see if my colleague know which day it is today….they did and they wanted to celebrate me with lunch out.
After work I met up with my friend Bobbi Jo and went to the Swedish MAX Burger place.
Even if I was filled since lunch I ate a burger meal 😆 We headed of to Nails art and got my very first manicure 😲😊😍
I’m finally on my way home 💞 after 12 hours! I am thankful for my body isn’t tired yet.
The final last thing that made my day was the phone greeting from my family in Sweden 💞💞💞
The celebration will continue tomorrow…

I am so lucky to be a part of an other Wedding Party. This year I am the Wedding coordinater again but I have been a part of the planning since a bit before they actully picked a date. And the bride to come wants me to be a part om most everything.
This book is something I have been wanted for some time and now I got it. So nice to know where you wrote the last things and helpful to find everything in one place. 🤣😊😍
It hasn’t been much to do until now, and now it’s only 18 day’s left. 😂😣😲😊
It’s gonna be more to think of and fix and help and do the decoration, reading emails, be the communication person between the Wedding Couple and Hotel, where they not just gonna sleep but also have the party. 😊 It might be Stressful some day’s to both be working and do this on my speartime but I will be paid this year. I learned myself a lesson last year.
So far and so close up I am still enjoying it.
For exampel I was talking to the bride to be yesterday, we got back to my home after I was done at work. Went through the list for the day and the day’s before when most of her family is coming from America. How does it look like, when is whom coming, how to transport everyone to the BBQ Party and how naiv will some off the Americans be who never travled before?
The list did stop but it took us 2,5 hours including eating dinner. 😂😂
We are lucky that we think the same and both have we experience from behind the Wedding Planing 😍 so we both know how much it is to think of. But it is still a bit rough for my friend to see and understand it all. “It hit me how many small details I have to think off” says the Bride to be.
To get her head around and understand that the small details need to be closing up. To put off time with the groom and make the program, menu, sitting, table map, guest book etc.

My plan was to go to Church today, be there to 11 o’clock (am). On my way out of bed I realizes my back hurts and I can nearly walk. Not a good sign! So instead I decided I to read more in the bible app I have. To study the word. To continue on my good habit.
I have started 2 new bible plans, 1,Wisdom and 2, Exploring your gifts.
I try to read one “chapter” each day before I start my day and heading to work or before I sleep depending on how tired I am when I woke up. Did I oversleep in the morning, then I read in the evening.
I have had a long learning curve off how to get a good habit of reading the Bible. It has taking me until this year and this Easter… but I am doing so much better now. ☺
I am learning more each day of all the different things about what the Bible is teaching us.
I must say that those bible plans has helped me yo get in to a good habit and rythem. Without them I would be in my “not reading bible place”.
In the Wisdom plan today, one question was “where do you spend time? In the social media or with God?” And here I am in one part of social media sharing my thoughts in life about how to spend time with God. Kind of ironic in one way.
In Exploring your gifts plan, one question was “How can you cultivate your gift if you’re not currently in a place where you can act your passion?”
I know one of my gifts from God but is that all? Do I have more gifts or is it just a passion? This is something I would like to explore. Can I combinde those? I just have to ask God for guidance and widsom to understand how this works. I also need to get involved in a Church and ask friends to pray for this with me.
I don’t know how God is speaking to you but I know he is. You just need to listen. I just know that if I don’t talk to God my Father every day my relationship gets weaker with him and it will be even harder to listen to what he has to tell me.
I am doing this to understand more and get a better relationship with him who is my Father in my life. He who can guide me in all directions and areas.

Blue sky and the sun is shineing. It’s a clear day.
I am trying to understand what I just read. The meaning of the words, the depth of sentence. How to do this in life, how to seek and receive from God. How to do it practicly?
This is new and good for me. I am curious how God will start speak to me and how those words can change my thinking. I am willing to do some changes in my life for him. This is the first day on a new journey with God.
It’s like I’m getting on a new train and I don’t have a clue on where it will take me… but it’s okay. 😊

I take the metro each day to my workplace like most other people in Oslo. Everyone is on their way. Some are stressed some sleeps.
This morning I felt like one of those who sleep or rest their head. I felt like sombie even the first hour at work. Why? Because I went up one hour earlier then normal. I am not a morning bird! I like my extra hour in the morning! But right now it’s actully quite okay to be heading home. So it has the benefit of get up earlier to be home early.
One hour makes such a big different in the afternoon!
I will try to get up the same time until the sommer-holliday. I let you know how it goes. But this is only week-day’s!

Life goes on whatever you do in life that is fact. We do all have day’s when we have more or less things to do. We all have day’s when we do not want to do a tiny thing but we have to because we have a job or family we can not just delete. But the feeling are there.
We have day’s when we want to be more social then other day’s or when we actully are spontanious social because we met someone we have not seen in a long while.
Those day’s are life. They are there.
Do I have this life? Yes! Am I happy every day? No, but I can try to be positiv. Positiv for friends, co-workers and family or neighbors.
I went to church today and there did the pastor talk about our daily life and challenges God askes us to do for him. One of them I reflected pver was “do we see our neighbors need for things in their daily life?” Are we a part of anything they need help with? What can we do practicly for them? How do we get to know our neighbors if we do not know them?
I am lucky to know most of my neighbors where I live, because I needed to get to know them few years ago. I am blessed to live where I live. I have not earned it but God have given me that.
Have you thought about why you are living where you are living? Are you blessed where you live? Cam you get to know your neighbors? Daily thoughts in life.

Frustration comes from nowhere most the time. It pops up. Mostly it disapare as fast as it came for me. But right now it’s still on my mind. 😐
Nothing is fun or feel positive right now. It’s more “how will I survive the rest of this month”- feeling with lots of frustration. ☹
My frustration is my life-situation. It’s the lack of getting a job. Lack of a better income. Lack of be able to have some money over in the end of the month.

I am not the kind of person that get depressed but this situation is close to that state of mind… Life isn’t easier just because I am a Christian (if you thought so). I have the same challenges in life as anyone else. I can through it on God and knowing I don’t need to think about it. Which if you who don’t believe, probably struggel with challenges.
I did struggel a lot about most thinking of economics before I started to believe on what the bible says.
I just have to trust God for a miracle to be able to take one day in the time. At least my cat’s have what they need.

It’s Easter. A Holiday most people rest from work. Doing things they might have time to or travels away or catch up with friends or family.
I wanted to try to go to a Church that hold this special Easter services. I didn’t make it because of my body but I have been able to rest and talk to God, catch up with a close friend and been to the gym. 😉
I have had a tradition to watch The Passion Of The Christ for many years on the Wednesday or Easter Thursday. This year I did not. Not that I needed a break from the movie. No, more of I wanted to enjoy and see how Easter could be without that movie. This year I watch War Room a film about seek God, fight the bad, pray, listen, trust. Something we all need for a daily life.
God has spoken to me in other ways than normal, not just during Easter also before. I have got a new Thankfulness towards God. I can’t put it in words I just smile. I’m Happy in an other way.
This is about faith. To trust the God I know. To listen to what he has to say to me. To take time. To be. To pray where it works for me. In an environment where I can seek God.
I know it’s different for everyone. You need to find your place. Mine is in the nature or on my walk to work.
Let God into your life and see what happend.

My inspiration to colours in life comes mostly from some interior magazines.
This is my second book of inspiration, or scrap-book as most people would say, where I do my version of “the pins” you find online. I have to keep my inspiration or ideas when I find something I like. Most people who buy a interior magazines maybe keep it a month, I keep it for years. I go back and find something “new” I have not seen or maybe I did not like it when this magazine was new in my home..

Sorry (to everyone who following my blog) I have not written in a while! I’ve been travel and time has fled to fast since last blog! It’s been a bit crazy with a new work-experience place…
Any way,
I don’t know how you see me, more then maybe a very creative person, but I love colours. Strong colours. And I need colours in my life. My home for example has colours and it’s not the ordinary home like everyone else. Yes, it’s my chaos with colours. 🙂 It makes me HaPpy. I have had a dream of a red kitchen since I was a teenager, I don’t think this kitchen I have in mind will be totally red in the future as I dreamt of but that’s okay. As long as I have one spot in red I will be happy.
You know how much I love the Autumn, which is a season of lots of colours therefor the featured picture of a leaf. Which leads med to the pictures I’m gonna post here, some may be pictures I’ve shared before.

Christmas for me is spending time with family. This Christmas is in Norway, with both my biologic brothers. My oldest brother has three kids, two teenagers and one on eight y.o. What a lovely combination!
When we woke up at 08.30 am we had breakfast and then we started with ginger bread baking.
I prefer teenagers where ever I am where I can help or work with. So to do things with my nephew on thirteen and my niece on fifhteen make my life easier and happy.
The little Christmas, the 23rd, went we out to play in the snow. The brothers started to make a fort/castle and me and my niece tried to slide in the new fallen snow.. haha what a joke! It did not work! But I figured out that if we asked the neigbor we might get it by sliding down the slope from the hay barn. (Picture below)
We played games inside, my middle brother and youngest nephew went out for a Christmas three…

We spent time together doing different things in the afternoon and me and my niece went for a walk to the grocery store to be able to bake safron bread.
In the evening, I think we where done with the safron bread at eleven pm.. They taste so good!

Before I catched the train I started my traveling with a good cup of americano from Esspresso House in Lysaker. I’m in my way to Sør-Trøndelag for Christmas. First time ever and I’ve lived in Norway for a bit more then ten years.. funny how it can be.
I took the train from Oslo to Hamar and shifted there to the next. I knew it would be a lot of people but it was like a surprise it was so many from Oslo that traveling the same way as me.
(I had to do something about my hair and this is the result) But here I am. On the train. Only my cellphone and books with me. I will not be on Facebook at all for five day‘s and I am looking forward that. To spend time with family or go for a walk in the snow. Tired as normal when I get on a train.. Normally I fell a sleep just after the ticked is checked but not this time. Maybe because I’m blogging.. but I could easy fall a sleep! Anyway.. after five and a half hours of traveling by train I’ll see my older brother which I have not seen for two years (!) Live in his home and enjoy whatever he is doing and also be with my second brother and his family when they are coming tomorrow the 22nd of December.
We are all (exept my brother who lives there) traveling away from home to celebrate Christmas. It was two tears ago since last time (!) or maybe even three years (even wers!) Anyhow, I will enjoy spending time with my family.
I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas!! And I hope you will have a good time off work, time of Joy with your family or close friends. And enjoy Christmas with all it comes with!

I manage to fix many socks if it’s a lot of good sports ob the television like Saturdays most are.

So it’s not just sewing that is relaxing! But that too…
Here is my “table” which actully is my floor. It is easier to work on the floor even if my cat boy Silver likes to come and sit on the fabric…
Here I am needling up wher to sew. Following the stripes so the jeansfabric don’t make “bobles” under.
It’s gonna be a bag for a blow-up-bed so you easy can carrie it with you.

The first snow came this Tuesday the 14th of November at 08.30 am
and it did not stop until 12.30 pm ☺
By 3.15 pm when I left work this was the view..
And this is my normally walkpath and so much more beautiful it is with snow ❄☺

But then two day’s later the rain came..
and offcourse with low temperature during the night…
…like a real winter which mean everything became icy!
For some reason I am not surprised more sad that we can’t have a really good winter from mid November.

The winter breeze with there cold air blown in over Oslo few weeks ago. It means that the air is cold (minus degrees celsius) not just chilly anymore but the thermometer sais plusdegrees (read below) But the nature looks like this..
It means that most people wear feather jacket now, winter hat and knitted glows. It shows on the thermometer, it might say +3 (but it means -4° C) not that cold no. But this coldness is the one that goes straigt into your bones. 😑 Doesn’t matter how much wool you have on you you will freeze.
It might be hard to understand if you never experience it. It doesn’t look like it’s cold.
The mornigs are bright and lovely!

The feeling of turning the music on and the television off. 🙂
This weekend is that just what I have enjoyed. I spent some hours in my couch on Friday evening more because I couldn’t be on my computer after a migraine attack. But I can’t say I watched the programs on the television, no it was more in the background.
So what better isn’t to just turn it off?!?
Yesterday did I sew some and fix some with the sewing-machine and no TV 🙂 after that I went out to be social and celebrate a friend on her birthday. A good decision!
Today I woke up with some ache in my body so I had the TV on in the background, it was some interesting sports and then some boring sports.. haha but after that I had vacuum cleaned my place I felt for some piece and quite.
So music on and I reached for a book, where I am in the end but it’s like I never end it no I rather start a new book..but now I’m gonna finish it! 🙂 So I peacefully can start a new “fourth book” or maybe it’s just a “third book”..
I think it’s okay to read more then one book as long as you know the different and what’s in which book. I usually read 3-4 books parallel with each other. Therefor can’t I read 5 books (well technical I can) but I don’t think it’s so smart. I had a discussion about this with a friend last week, she can’t read more then two parallel of each book and she is fascinate about people like me who read more then that and I am fascinate over those whom only read one book. My mom rad only one book at the time but she also “swallowed” the books she read and she had a hard time to put them away. i am a bit of the opposite of that in my reading.
For me it’s more of a thing to read different genres/type of books and get a better vocabulary because I love to read both in Norwegian and Swedish and English. And when you read more than one book and in more than one language you should be able to increase the vocabulary. 🙂

October is the month of breeze in the morning that looks like fog and with naked trees and lonely leafs hanging there. A beautiful season just like any other season of the year. How lonely a leaf can be in the wind but still shine up a person walking past. How all those colours that still meets us in the morning on our way to work, gives me a big doze of inspiration I bring with me the whole day. How wonderful the nature looks like every Day! I just can’t get enough! I love this season. Let it never end (I know it will) but right now, no please.
How the rain when it suddenly comes «from nowhere» and wash the street and clear the air. How the chilly air in the early morning really wakes you up and realizing the winter month isn’t far away anymore. November is just a round the corner. A new season is coming. But still, to stay in the moment, BE, THINK. To reflect over the Day’s that past. What did I do? Did I enjoy the day and all the colours?
Since I started at Radisson as a trainee I have realized I appreciate nature in an other way then I have done before, a bit like in the same way as I think I did as a child. I see, I watch, I enjoy. I think of what I see, how is it possible to get so strong colours on a single leaf? Could the human person make something similar? Or is it only one who is behind all this? For me it hasn’t always been for sure. I have been far far away from God for many years and I was not as sure anymore during those years. How far away was my thinking to someone else who doesn’t believe in something “bigger” than us human? I am curious how other thinks not that I will change my way of thinking over the day but still. How many are not living there lives day out and day in without reflecting on how other people think?

The swallows are still flying around wondering when they fly south? What a beautiful Day we got! And I have to clean my house before I’ll go out… But that’s okay.

Today have walked around in Oslo with a new friend. She is a Couchsurfer from Ireland/Brazil and stay with me this weekend.

Why is it so, that most people who take pictures of the nature take pictures of the green leafs during Spring and Summer and the colourful flowers in the Autumn more often then on the dying or dead leafs, flowers and fruit and berries?
What about the beauty of a dead leaf or flower? It has been alive and now it’s not anymore because of the season of the nature.
I will share what I think is beautiful.
I love the Autumn and have since I was a kid. It is something about all the colours, the rain and the air.
It gives me more energy then any other season. For me it’s a positive time.
I love the Autumn rain because it most the time comes fast, hard and leave most the time fast but I also like it when it’s rains for day’s. It’s something beautiful with rain.
But it’s also all about all those beautiful colours! The nature has in my eyes a special power when it comes to colours. Just how different all kind of leafs changes colours from Day to Day is a WOW feeling!
How a flower which is both blooming and over-blooming and still is so beautiful.
Or when a leaf goes from green to red!
How beautiful a yellow feld can be…
And how a waterstreem flows through a subarea and the sound of it give you harmony just pasting it above it..
How beautiful it is to walk with trees on both sides that shifting in colours ☺ or pasting this with the contrast.. 😉
It gives me lots of inspiration, Joy and energy even if I have a bad day or a cold. 😉
Who can not like or love this?
In this time you hear and can read about healthy snacks wherever you want if you are in to it. But how msny times do you really do any if those you saved “to do later”?
I love to eat chochalate balls but I rather use fresh figs and shifting some of the other ingredients then just use the normal ingredients.
Those (in the picture) has, oat, less sugar then normal, oil, fresh figs, cacao powder, a splash of coffee, vanilla sugar and half a deceliter protein powder.
Normally would I also ad dades but I didn’t have any..
Try it, it taste good and your sweetness disappears when you eat these as you get fed faster because of the protein powder. 😉

God has humor!
I thought I just said yes to a random Couchsurfer for this weekend, but he showed me wrong. He sended a girl who needed to here some of my life experience and about my path with God to see positive on her adventure here in Norway.
She came more then less directly from her brothers Wedding on Friday in Polen to me in Oslo on Saturday (yesterday). Tied and only wanted to rest which she did. 😉
We had many good conversations about life, faith and how to see what and when God is talking. 😊 We watched tve movie War Room (which I think everyone should see no matter what you believe.) It has humor, lots of things to learn if life and if you are a believer, many good advice of how to grow with God. She told me after the movie that she needed to watch it, that it was good for her. So glad I were to hear that.
Grace was the word that we talked a lot about those hours she stayed with me and how grace can be a part if our life in different situations of life. How God has showed me grace in all kind of life-situation and how God has provide me with what I need or how God have closed or open doors in my life when I trust God. How she can trust God. How to push emotions aside when the emotions turns into fear instead of the oppisite – happiness or peace in the specific situation there and then. When we come with high expections from what God can do, he do provide our life just the He lnows we need it.
Grace, love, trust and faith is some of the things he has given us to have in our relationship with him.
