Exams week,  Notodden,  8th to 12th of December… Day one – 8th.

It’s here already 🤪🙈. This fall has past so fast (which in the long run is a good thing, because then five years will run fast too), almost scary fast.  We have been working on and with wood assignments the past seven weeks.

Yesterday the 8th of December, we met up at Campus Notodden and got to work on our clay assignment we did between August and October this fall. The teacher has burned our clay assignment for the past few weeks, and we started on to choose what type of glaze we wanted on our products we made.

Glaze day at Campus Notodden.

This is my product’s and glaze before 2nd burning. The turtle is just an experiment off colours. Main colour is black, the colour that looks like light blue on the picture, the light purple will hopefully become grey and the green colour is a under glaze and I hope it ” pop’s ” through the black.

The lighthouse is painted in oxide black  with  a red roof.  And the ” bee🐝 vase ” is painted with a brown-ish colour with yellow columns on the top, so it looks like honey dripping.
