The long weekend of πŸ‡§πŸ‡»17th of MayπŸ‡§πŸ‡» and the Pentecostal with lot’s of sewing 🧡😊, good weather (warm!) and two new friends.

17th of May least we can’t say it was cold! We have had above +20 degrees Celsius the whole week. And today wasn’t it any different except that we have had mire wind. Last year was freezing cold.

After I’ve seen the 17th of May celebrations I walked back home. A walk in total of 4 km in mostly πŸŒ€β˜€οΈ…

Got home and had late breakfast out on my terrace  – a place I really enjoying because I haven’t had a terrace for the past three years .  I’ve been sewing and picking up what I sewed πŸ˜†πŸ˜† off and on the rest of the day when I haven’t been eating.

The 18th of May, and Pentecostal weekend, I picked up half of what I sewed the 17th 😝πŸ€ͺπŸ˜†.

The morning of 19th I figured that I could start on the inner lining or the inner bag for the backpacker. Much more easy!

I have also managed to walk with Saga πŸ• and her owner Hilde, for more than one hour.  Sewing some more and got one hour of a practical run 😊.

May 20th

I was happy for few minutes when my overlocker worked, but than after unpatienced when I didn’t manage to get the the one thread in place 🀬πŸ€ͺ.

But 😊 I am almost done with my new backsack/ backpacker 😊. Just few seams left 🀩. It actually starts to look like something 🀩.

Innerbag with pockets, made by Rest-pieces from other sewing projects. Which even one more time have to pick up the corner-seams πŸ€ͺ or move the smartphone pocket πŸ€ͺ.
The front of this project. Rest-pieces from jeans and decorations of a rosehip.

I am getting there in small steps πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ. But I am so so pleased with it!

Nine days has already past of this year…Β

I thought I wanted to share about 2016 but then I thought “why should I?” I’ve already shared in the blogs what I have done. So I think I will share what I am looking forward this year instead.

I’m excited about what God has for me this year! I know something good will come! πŸ˜‰

The year has started and I’m still at the hotel but I do more administration tasks and I love it. I didn’t think I ever would like to work more with computers but I do. In August I was so sure I would fit in the reception how wrong your body can show it is. 😁😁 haha. But I’m so glad to realising it!

I’ve learn a lot! So now it’s time for something new. So I have applied for a trainee job in administration in a office- nothing I thought about six months ago or even two years ago. But here I am and looking forward to see where it can lead me. I’m excited to see what and where God will lead my steps! ☺

I like to plan and have overview.

I’ll be in my city Oslo this Christmas too but this Christmas will I both do things and afford to do things. 😍 Last year I had to stay in Oslo because I didn’t afford to go away for X-mas. I made it and survived.

I have a plan.

I will go on a day trip to Sweden and by typical Christmas food I like and grow up with, before the Christmas weekend. It will be nice to “get away” just for a day too. I am already looking forward that and planing. But first I have to finish for the Christmas Holiday in the Hotel. I have Holiday from the 18th of December until the 2nd of January. I don’t think I have had such long Holiday since school-time, ten years ago or longer! 😍

The smartphone was a early X-mas gift to myself but I will also finally by a kitchen machine I have been wanting for at least the last 3 years and not been able to by. Looking forward to be able to bake more again! (Not the most expensive but it’s a start). I ordered it yesterday (the 5th of December). 😍😍

I will join some Christmas party, go to the cinema by myself or maybe with friends, watch movies on the television, bake, live, enjoy life, relax, sewing and I have to apply for jobs… but I believe time will fly fast ☺ and I have my cats so I am not alone 😍

It’s a bit sad in one way that I can’t celebrate Christmas with my own family (brothers and kids because of my cat’s 😯) but I’ve done it before… I will and have to stay focused and positive.

To you who read my post or blog, I wish you a Great time in December and in all the preparation for Christmas!
