Wait and see 5

Eternally With You.

We’ve talked at great length about the wilderness being a place where we feel as though God is no longer interested or active in our wait. As far as we can tell, He’s abandoned us. That’s just not true. Take this to the bank and deposit it for safekeeping: God is always present with you.

This characteristic of God is defined as being omnipresent. It’s a big Bible word we can add to our vocabulary and retrieve when abandonment issues tiptoe into our thought life. Turn the corner of this page down and put a large star by this sentence: Omnipresent means always present; everywhere at the same time. Now, when you feel abandoned, remember to come back here and remind yourself that God is constantly, forever, eternally with you.

–πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’——-πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’——-πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—–

He is never not with me. He is never not with you. (English majors and grammar police, please don’t think about the double negatives.) He is next to us in our wilderness, even if we don’t see Him at work.

Even though we feel abandoned by God, we aren’t. God didn’t abandon Abraham and Sarah. God didn’t abandon the Israelites. God has not and will not abandon you. Try singing these words to the tune of β€œJesus Loves Me, This I Know”: β€œGod is with me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Though His presence I can’t see, God will not abandon me. Yes, God is with me. Yes, God is with me. Yes, God is with me. The Bible tells me so.”

God didn’t abandon David. He roamed in and out of caves and strongholds. He dodged arrows at the dinner table and fled from the king’s army. For over fifteen years, he wandered and waited for his appointing. But David’s wait did come to an end.

We know we’re waiting well when we truly experience peace in God’s pauses and plans. The peace is demonstrated in the resting of our thoughts and actions. Our real focus becomes a deep and abiding relationship with the Person of our faith, rather than manipulating our circumstances to receive the object of our wait. David waited well by focusing on God, not the problems, the people, or the palace.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrowβ€”not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

Details.

My life gets better with details specially when it comes to something I make. Just like God is all about details in our lifes.

I ordered a new year diary, a calender for this year. I ordered a blue and recieve a pink. I dislike pink.

I had a saying many years; “Nothing that is pink will get into my house. Mostly because I hate/dislike that colour. I have never liked it. It doesn’t fit me.” But as the years went by I have realized that, sometimes I will get it into my house rather I like it or not. Then it’s up to me to change the details if I can.

Yesterday I placed my sewingmachine on a table, found a fabric I like and started to sew.

This is a bad picture (above) I know. I took it for a reason. To show you how the details are importent. You can if you look closely see the details. How we are the mirrow of our faith or how blurry we might be infront of Dad. !But Dad can show us our details in our lifes if we want that.

The old cover is pink and made off a soft material quite easy to sew fabric on. 😊

Above here, you see the contrast between my fabric and the soft plastic-silicon material.

And under … You see my first round of sewing…

…a straight line and realizing that wouldn’t hold so I had to use zick-zack. Above is the inside belove is the outside.

This pattern is so me I don’t just like the pattern in this fabric I like the color combination and the fact that it is nature-friendly and eco-friendly.

The material is linen. 😍😍

I like to think that Dad made us in a “good material” so He can help us to use the material/fabric that fits whatever weather we have around us. To help us find the details He wants to give us.

Is it a sewingmachine to everyone? Probably not.

But we have and can find knowledge and inspiration for our lifes when we are with Him. We just need to ask for help and guideness toward where He wants us or ask Him for those details He has for us.

Dad has given me lots of creativity and I love it. Even on a “bad body day” can I be creative. I can write about it like I do now, I can find inspiration and keep it in my scrapbook. On a “good body day” I sew. 😍

If you want inspiration ask Dad for it. Ask Him for your details.

It can be things you already know but maybe got forgotten or things you are waiting on. Have patience and trust Him WHO are guiding your life.

Matthew 7:24

Today’s bible vers.

β€œAnyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.

Matthew 7:24 NLT

Isn’t this vers just something to lean to?! Who doesn’t want this encouraging?

Have a blessed Day all of you!

Fighting Discouragement

The psalmist’s words became my personal prayer. Help me stay planted by the streams of Your water, God. Keep me from wickedness. Help me meditate on Your law day and night. Oh, how I longed to delight in God rather than wallow with Discouragement.

Every day started in His Word. Most days I didn’t understand what I read, but I believed in God’s faithfulness, and I noticed how Bible verses started to repeat in my head more than Discouragement’s voice.

Determined to stay refreshed by God’s Word, like a tree planted by streams of water, I started to keep a Bible always within arm’s reach: in the car, beside my bed, on the end table by the couch, in the kitchen.

At one point, I had verses taped on nearly every doorframe in my house. I’m not sharing this to make myself sound super spiritual. I’m sharing this to show how desperate I was to defeat Discouragement, Negativity, and Rejection.

My victory has taken years to realize. The battle has been slow, but every time I read and meditate on Scripture, I gain ground. Every now and then, Discouragement sets a trap; however, with God’s wisdom, I am able to avoid it. I shout my victory chant, β€œNo weapon formed against me will prosper.” The bullies flee. I praise. Why don’t you shout the victory chant aloud right now? Go ahead. I’ll wait.

David dealt with criticism from his wife and negativity from his brothers, but he didn’t allow Discouragement to defeat him. He stayed close to God, and he cried out every time he needed help. We are blessed to be able to cry out to God for help and search His Word for inspiration.

Sometimes the totality and enormity of God’s Word can be overwhelming. Have you ever felt this way? You know encouragement will come from Scripture, but when you open the Bible, you don’t know how to find the encouragement that awaits. When I have this feeling, I create my own mini-Bible.

Using my Bible’s concordance, I look up a word that has something to do with my current state of mind and circumstances. For example, if I am feeling rejected, I find the word love and look up verses about God’s love. Then, in a small spiral-bound notebook, I record every verse that lifts my heart. This mini-Bible becomes my go-to place for quick encouragement.

God was faithful to David. God will be faithful to you and me as well.

This was better than I thought it would be when I started to read this. I have to say, I’ve learn something here.

To believe in Dad’s help for me, when I struggle to understand what I read. πŸ™πŸ˜Š AS what I wrote in the 2nd picture in this blog. I have to start and believe in that!

I hope this encourage you in your faith, life and relation with our heavenly Father.

The Next Thing

It sounds exciting to β€œdo the next thing” when that next thing is interesting. But if we can’t put the pieces of the puzzle together, we may scratch our head and wonder, How is this drawing me closer to the object of my wait? Instead, we should evaluate how the wait is drawing us closer to the Person of our faith.

Let’s be honestβ€”if given the choice, we would all choose the shortest route to the object of our wait. Even though we know God wants to do a new thing, we prefer the fast track with the least resistance. But God, knowing our weaknesses and vulnerability, often chooses to lead us via longer route so we can learn to trust Him more.

“But God, knowing our weaknesses and vulnerability, often chooses to lead us via longer route so we can learn to trust Him more.”

We hesitate to embrace the next thing and move forward. God knows that. Even AS we’re surrendering, we vacillate with uncertanity. Can I really trust God? The what ifs become louder and louder. He knows our fears, doubts and hesitations.

He knows a longer route (our next thing) will provide opportunities to experience Him and resolve our moving-forward issues.

He uses our next thing to build a faith bank of trust.

My days of writing thank-you notes, coding bills, and caring for monthly givers ended almost twelve years after I accepted God’s invitation to move. Yes, my next thing lasted twele years. Sorry if that rains on your parade. Some seasons of waiting last longer than others.

My cubicle days were rich in character building. As I immersed myself in the study of God’s Word, I fell more in love with God and less in love with me. Greater value was placed on bringing glory to His name rather than fame to mine. The truth of Philippians 2:3 took root deep in the once-rocky soil of my heart: β€œDo nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”

My next thing taught me that my purpose is not to stand at center stage, but to support the One who stands at center stage. His plan is always about His book, not mine. The picture finally became abundantly clear to me: it’s only about God.

πŸ™β€οΈβœοΈπŸŒπŸŒŽπŸŒβœοΈβ€οΈπŸ™

Once again, really good reading. It’s gave me a new angle to think about this on. I hope it gives you something new too. 😊

Wait and see 2

Have you ever felt God calling you to something?

This is the text;

Have you ever felt God calling you to something? How did you react? You could do one of two things: with good intentions, you could try everything in your power to fulfill the calling … or you could wait for God to give you specific directions. There is wisdom in taking steps of action, and there is wisdom in waiting on God to tell you where to walk. It’s all about finding the balance between the two. Think of waiting as controlled preparation, like getting ready to have a baby.

The same is true for God’s timing and our preparation. Our job is to not run ahead of Him or lag behind. We should take natural, commonsense steps that are in line with His Word so we will be ready when He delivers our heart’s desire.

As we step out in faith, He will show us the way by either opening doors or closing them. Sometimes that will require we do a new thing, and sometimes it means doing what we already know to do.

Waiting in the pasture and tending sheep are difficult when we feel God has called us to something different. Many of us Jesus girls are doers, created with a nature to fix, nurture, and make things happen. Therefore, we don’t easily accept an assignment to hang out in our pastures and do the same old things when new things need to be done. And some of us Jesus girls are more cautious, created with timid hearts that seek confirmation.

let’s revisit James 1:2: β€œSo don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let [a test or challenge] do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way” (THE MESSAGE).

I have to say, this was interesting reading! I hope you like it too.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Wait and see.

I’ve just starter to read this plan “wait and see” in my Bible-app. It’s how I read the bible. It helps me understanding the meaning off the verses I would read right from the book, chapter.

Today’s devotional was about “Misconception”.

#1: If I am waiting, I must not have heard God correctly.

This is why it is so important to invite God into our wait from the very beginning, instead of after we have tried everything we know to make things happen. As we spend time with Him and in His Word, we gain confidence in His plans. A quick visit to the past fills us with the peace we need to make it through the pause. Waiting well teaches us to trust His delays rather than doubt His ways.
This is a mile-pile in a Christians life.

To wait right.

#2: If I am waiting, I must desire something not in God’s will for my life.

To ask your family and several close friends to pray with you. You have to committ to taking each step you feel God asking of youβ€”whether that was toward meeting your future spouse or remaining single.

I have friends that pray with me. Maybe we need to change the routines on this I don’t know.

#3: If I am waiting, I must not be praying enough.
You know in your heart God would supply their needs, but you have to keep telling your head. To faithfully followed the teaching of Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:17: β€œNever stop praying” (NLT). Your wait don’t end because you prayed, but you resolve strengthened, helping you to face each day.

I need to tell my head to stay where I am. If it is about waiting or other things.

#4: If I am waiting, I must not have enough faith.
The writers Word, “Here’s the thingβ€”I should have prayed and read my Bible, but not to work my way back into God’s good graces. He is a gracious and merciful God. My praying and Scripture reading do not make Him more gracious. Somewhere along the way, I’d convinced myself otherwise. God makes us wait at times so we can glean valuable lessons. But He never does so out of spite. This is something David taught me as I continued to wait for God to heal my husband.

How often do you ask your self those questions? I ask them.
How or what are you waiting on from God, Dad? Are you the kind of person that needs to write it down and come back to it later and see if Dad has answered you? Or do you remember every question and answer?
I have a “prayers and answers” book where I write down in the moment I have a prayer. I go back when I know Dad has answered it. Then I know it. I can read often ti remind me of the effort of waiting. 😊

To wait is a blessing and s challenge.

I hope this will inspire you too to read others view of the scipt.

New Year’s resolution’s …

It’s still (when I am writing) 2018. 22 minutes left of this year.

I am watching a TV-show called Β«The twelve stroke at SkansenΒ» or Β«Midnight at SkansenΒ» from Sweden. Where they are asking the audience about Β«what will be your green New Year’s resolution?Β» And with Β«greenΒ» they mean, what can you do to think about the environment?

I was talking loud just before they talked about this. Thinking loud, what will I do different in 2019 that I didn’t do in 2018? I know I can’t promise to get to the gym more often, because my body is like it is.. But I will try to get out in the nature more often then I have this year (2018).

And there did the clock past 00:00 Woho !! Happy New Year!

My cat Sussi-P does not like the “pop corn sounds” of the fireworks, while Silver seems not to care much. Funny with pets I have to say. But I have to say, it has become be to much of this to use fireworks.

Like, who is cleaning up after? Who is thinking of all the animals who doesn’t like the sound?

I kind of “have to stay home” to be calm for my pets… I love them so I do it But Hey, pls think about them too!

I am curious what this New Year will bring.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.2019

When Dad speaks, you need to trust Him.

I met up with one of my close girl friends today. We had a catch-up after Christmas. And we both realised how much Dad has spoken to us this year, prepared us for what He has for us but we don’t know what. How imporant it is to trust him when he give us something.
There I was, waiting on the metro to get home, sitting on the top of a bench…

Reflecting over our talk.

Where we invited Dad right away. Where we want him to be included when we talked.

It’s naturally for us, in a coffee place in town as much as if we would meet in each’n’others home.

How often do you include Dad?
We shared ours experiences of how Dad has showen us different types of expanding our view and understanding.
Do you share what Dad telling you to someone close? If not, I will say it’s time for you to do that πŸ˜‰
/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

My blog-journey.

When I started to blog I did it clear my head, not really to get people to start following my blog for sure! But here I am, few years later with around twenty followers!

It’s been a Journey, my Journey to figure things out. A positive exploring journey. Where I have had to trust Dad’s Word to me, to listen to what He says and understand that this is what He want me to do not just for me but also for you who read.

It’s about to share the good and fun

and bad or sad

things in life.

God has given me the gift of greetings to other people. He gives me uplifting words, pictures or Bibleverses. He has also given me prophetic words back to me through friends this year – 2018.

*The first greeting I got this year was; the 28th of April.

I did not really understand, so I Said “Dad if you give me the same message 3 times I know it is from you, but you also have to show me clearly what this is about.”

*The second greeting came in June and *the third in November.

All with the same message:

“I will make your Creativity bigger”.

Was I or Am I up for a new challenge?

In November and December I started to see clearly and understand what Dad wanted for me and this blog. When more and more of you who are now following my blog. I understood this is my challenge, my gift from Dad my Lord. This is what He wants for me.

This is the greeting “I will make your Creativity bigger“.

To share.

My Dad, our heavenly Father, has spoken to me, to share my Christian life, my Daily life to inspire others. To follow Him and let Him guide me.

I do not know my future but I know He will guide me and give me the right words.

I am not good to read the bible… But Dad has pointed this out to me;

“You are willing to hear my voice and do what I ask you to do, which for me is better then to read and not understand the words.”

Not that I don’t want to not read the bible. No no no. I want it but I fall a sleep ☹️ no matter what time it is. It is all about to get good habits. Which for me is to read through the Bible-app and read uplifting week-plans.

So now I’m looking 4ward to next year and the year after that! With Dad and this blog. 😊

I wish you all a Happy New YearπŸŽ‡, Happy lifeπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰, a good relationship with Dad our heavenly Father where ever you are around the 🌏🌎🌍.

I will Try to post more often then until December-18, which was special. I hope my blog will be full of inspiration and that you will let your network know about me, if you like it. πŸ˜‰

Advents calender, 24th December-18.

It’s Christmas eve πŸŽ„ it’s finally here. The Day I have been waiting on.

Here comes the verse for today; Psalm 37:21

The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives.

This verse is just like what Christmas is all about. To show mercy and be giving.

We celebrate the newborn son that came to this World for us. Our Father gave us a son, to be able to show mercy to others. And we have the oppurtunity to give, show love and mercy.

Merry Christmas.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Advents calender, 23rd December-18.

It’s the 23rd of December and the 4th Advent.

It’s little Christmas eve, the last day to shop the very last things.

Here is the verse of today;

Psalm 31:7-8

I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered ny trouble; You have known my soul in adversities,
And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

It is the time to recieve, to enjoy with friends and family, to love and forgive. I hope you will be with someone you love or care for tomorrow and the Day after that.

Spend time is better then gifts you rap in paper. Remember, you can’t buy time but you spend time. πŸ˜‰

I wish you all a Happy Merry Christmas.

Psalm 98:1

OH, sing to the Lord a new song! For HE has done marvelos things

To dare to sing to the Lord, to try to sing, whatever or however it sounds, just do it. Because that’s what it says. HE our heavenly Father will do marvelos things!

Believe and have faith.

Try and don’t care what other people think of your voice.

Sing to God not to people.

Be proud of your voice.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Advents calender 19th December.

For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?

Psalm 18:31

This is good questions! Important questions. Where in your Faith are you standing? Are you taking your faith for granted or are you updating your faith now and then?

Who is your rock? Do you know that? Or are you asking the questions to your self? Where do you want to be? Do you have a goal?

I know my rock. I know what I believe. For me isn’t this a question, for me is God my Lord and my rock.

An other day of a lot I did…

Met my shoe doctor, got my new “Winter shoes”, took the train to the course I_m in (to get back to work). Was walking and eating in negative 8Β°C.

Sat down inside, searching for jobs btw 10am – 12:30pm, had lunch, catched the tram home forty min later. Got Home, switched shoes, socks and out again.

To meet a girl-friend and do dine xmas shopping and catch-up over a good strong coffee/chai latte.

Back home around 5:30pm completely exhausted. Tired brain and body! I did not do much but I did take both my cats out for a walk, which isn’t normal!

Here is Silver 🐈 boy exploring the snow ❄️ for the very first time. .

And, here is the verse of Friday the 14th;

Proverbs 13:14

The law of the wice is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death.

Advents calender 12th December.

Sorry,

These last days have been crazy and gone in one, so I post three today. Sorry about this.

Verse of the 12th;

Proverbs 12:17

He who speaks truth declares righteouness, But false witness deceit.

Good Words! This verse reminds us of how important it is to listen to God’s voice. And follow his will what he wants us to say, speak, do when He call on us.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Advents calender 11th December.

As you seen I like to have different backgrounds of “today’s verse”. Today it’s needles πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“ because I am working with a zipper.

When you walk your steps will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble.

It is so good to know that when I run ny steps wont be hindered 😊 or stumble. God is watching our steps no matter running or just walking. 😊

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Advents calender 10th December

Sorry that the verse of 10th of December coming today the 11th. I was a bit to tired and honnestly, I forgot.

Proverbs 4:5b

Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

A good reminder to us all.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Advents calender, 9th December

Today’s verse comes from Proverbs 10:23

The verse says it all. When God is blessing us He do it rich!

My experience is that a blessing is never small. It’s always the right type and enough when it comes.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg

To stay on track.

My internship has been a fast learingcurve. A wonderful place. I have been Creative on an other level 😍

I’ve baked, making cards and recycled paper to new more fansy paper 😊

Since December 23rd have I once again wripped my head around and added an extra gear, to look for jobs and write applications.

I have the same goal as I had this August, to get a job.

And after five applications I got a phonecall from an employer this Tuesday, they want me to come for a interview the 13th of December.

A special Day for me with long traditions. So this Day will be even more special 😊

The date 13 have never been spooky or a bad day. I do not believe in that.

(13th of December a very traditional day for me to celebrate Lucia.)

I am determined to get back to work after seven years without a job. It’s been my Journey. I have learn a lot about life and what my heavenly Father wants me to do, how act and listen.

I have learn to listen and have patience. To trust, in both myself and my heavenly Father. To believe. To ask for guideness.

He has show’n me what’s importent in life and how to relax in His word and Him.

I am exited to see where He is sending me.

I am thankful for every job I have applyed to and didn’t get for the right reason 😊

My advice, trust God because if you don’t you will not understand what He wants most for you.

Have patience. If you don’t feel you have enough patience, ask for more!

I have a tattoo that reminds me on a thing that is both small and big.

This is my reminder of my Journey, Life, How to Live, What to Expect from the Lord. And this is a part of Everyday life.

How importend it is to remember those Words. Where ever you are in life. What ever you do or don’t do, want or wish to do.

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.

Advents calender, 8th December

It’s white outside and bread baking view inside.

Today’s verse comes from Proverbs 8:35

For whoever finds me finds life. And obatains favor from the Lord.

…for whoever finds me ‘gains mercy’ with the Lord. …an other translation of ‘obtains favor’.

To gain mercy with the lord, is for me kind of big.

Just think about it.

As His child you gain mercy when you find Him. You have to say you want to follow Him, to keep a relationship with Him. And with that you are His child.

WOW!

/Mia-Simone.Svenberg.
