Crutches, Ice, Snow, but still Thankful.

So I went to the doctor appointment on Monday in hope to hear what’s wrong with my knee and why it gets swollen so often. The physiotherapist bend and turned my knee and in the moment it was not a problem but after one hour.. I went for a walk to the nearest subway and it was not bad but after that it got swollen again 😐 and I could not walk up hills or in stairs 😔 it was pure pain.

The evening came and I had to get my crutches out from the storage space and uae them at home. So bad was it.

On Tuesday I had to go to the Hotel and do my hours. I sat in the reception area the whole shift. I was on crutches for two days and tried without on Thursday. It was fine the first hours but in the end.. it was not smart! Well I rest and it went better 🙃

Friday came and I had an appointment, to check my eyes for new glasses. I thought about to grab at least one crutch but I was running late to the bus so stupid me walked without. I can only blame me.  It wasn’t so bad walking around in the city actually.  No the bad stuff happen on the bus, the bus driver started before I had seated so I kind of jumped down to the seat and I heard a small “bang” in my back  😔 and I got off the bus started to walk home and just before the mailbox I slide on a small ice spot on both my knees. And a new “bang” in my back. 😔

Saturday (yesterday) back to the Hotel on crutches. This day went better. 😉 Today Sunday I’m just using one crutch because both knee and back is better. But on the top of using one crutch it’s snowing today…

Whatever happens in my life with or without pain I always pray a healing prayer when I’m in bed. And I believe in healing because I’ve been healed during my years as a Christian.

I’m thankful for the  crutches at home no doubt. I am also thankful for that my body gets better faster with rest.
