Digital school, December 2021

Last Friday (the 10th) we went from ” normal school day ” to trafic light green (trafic light system) becauce of the newest mutation of covid-19: Omikron. The same day we were informed that on Monday December 13 we would be on trafic light

Yellow.

Yellow, Which means a higher chance to get sick from omikron and 1 meter distance in the classroom and for the students and the class lesson went from 45 to 50 minutes.

Monday and Tuesday went on ” normal ” as a start. At lunch we got an email from the principal that Wednesday December 15th is back on Red.

Red means Digital school day.

But hey, we are used to those fast turns so everyone just working as much and fast as it’s possible to make the best for everyone.

2 and a half more day’s before Christmas Holiday in the School. Woho! But first a weekend! 😊😊.

I am thankful for what the Lord is giving me and how to best help the sorest students that stuggles the most, the best upfollowing I managed online 😊.

Psalm 47 verses 1-9, Third of Advent.

Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.

For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth.

He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.

He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.

God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.

God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.

The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.

My hope yesterday was to be able to go to Church to the eleven service, did not happend. I woke up with a sore back πŸ˜”. Next to a locked back. So I’ll stay in the couch for some hours. It is the only thing that helps. πŸ€ͺπŸ™‚.

The good thing is, I can blog, relax and watch some World cup Skii πŸ˜‰ and do some other more important things.

I have during the last ten years, learn to enjoy the day’s even the less good day’s when it comes to how much I can or can’t do with my body. And I am thankful for what I can do.

The lord have given me that peace.

So, don’t stress with things just becauce someone else think you should. Enjoy life becauce the Lord has a plan for this day in your life!

Preparing for Christmas-19.

Some of my friends has this tradition of gather friends over to bake gingerbread one week before the Christmas break starts. A nice and fun gathering.

Last week at work….

Sunset on my walk to the tram πŸš‹ at Bekkestua.

Icy, slippery streets with rain and snow and cold nights…

Christmas party with work, December 20 at #bærumsverk. And a chocolate box from my land lord and land lady.

And now have I finally the Christmas break. 😊 16 days 😊.

And December 21, Gingerbread cookies day with my American girl friend BobbiJo;

Sundag December 22, safron bread tradition; have the television on w/ some ski β›·πŸŽΏ programe, make the safron bread, use mom’s apron πŸ˜‰.

Until this year I have been struggling to get the Christmas feeling, but this year it felt like my mom (who is sick w/ demensia) reminded me to use her apron during the baking of safron bread. And it helped. πŸ’–momπŸ’–.

Merry Christmas to you All!!

Advents calender, 24th December-18.

It’s Christmas eve πŸŽ„ it’s finally here. The Day I have been waiting on.

Here comes the verse for today; Psalm 37:21

The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives.

This verse is just like what Christmas is all about. To show mercy and be giving.

We celebrate the newborn son that came to this World for us. Our Father gave us a son, to be able to show mercy to others. And we have the oppurtunity to give, show love and mercy.

Merry Christmas.

Advents calender, 23rd December-18.

It’s the 23rd of December and the 4th Advent.

It’s little Christmas eve, the last day to shop the very last things.

Here is the verse of today;

Psalm 31:7-8

I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered ny trouble; You have known my soul in adversities,
And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

It is the time to recieve, to enjoy with friends and family, to love and forgive. I hope you will be with someone you love or care for tomorrow and the Day after that.

Spend time is better then gifts you rap in paper. Remember, you can’t buy time but you spend time. πŸ˜‰

I wish you all a Happy Merry Christmas.

Psalm 9:11;

Sing praise to the Lord, who dwells in Zion. Declare His deeds among his people.

This year I’m home in Oslo, celebrate with friends and taking care of my sick cat Sussi-P 🐈.

Christmas πŸŽ„ is all about love, family and a newborn child.

Family is what you make it to, if you can’t be with your biolodgic be with those that sees you, knows you and cares for you.

β€οΈπŸŽ„β€οΈ

Be nice and friendly, show love no matter what.

For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?

Psalm 18:31

This is good questions! Important questions. Where in your Faith are you standing? Are you taking your faith for granted or are you updating your faith now and then?

Who is your rock? Do you know that? Or are you asking the questions to your self? Where do you want to be? Do you have a goal?

I know my rock. I know what I believe. For me isn’t this a question, for me is God my Lord and my rock.

To meet a girl-friend and do dine xmas shopping and catch-up over a good strong coffee/chai latte.
